Use the environment. You've got big guns, you've got Stratagems, you've got reinforcements from teammates, but you've also got the environment to utilize. As you roam the map, you might find items you can pick up and throw, such as explosive tanks.

Go prone! Every time you're hit, you'll be told to go prone and double-tap circle to dive down. This is covered in basic training, but if you're being told to do it, do it! This will sometimes be the best way to get those soft spots on bugs or ensure you can escape from a horde.

The same faster-than-light travel technology, heroically liberated from the Illuminates, that gave Super Earth access to the galaxy, has since been used to colonize it. This period has come to be known as The Great Democratization.

Every firefight feels like a war between trying to eradicate every enemy on the screen and just taking off and running for your life, in a way that’s somehow both extremely nerve-wracking and absolutely hilarious.

Best answer: There's been pelo concrete confirmation of this, but Helldivers 2 does seem to raise or lower enemy density depending on how many players there are in your squad.

With pelo story mode or alternate game modes, I’m curious how much there will be for players to do beyond grinding the same missions ad nauseum, especially with pelo clear content roadmap laid out as of yet. That said, with only two enemy factions at the moment, it seems likely the third one from the original Helldivers could be added into the mix at some point, which could easily keep the good times rolling.

Helldivers are the first line of defense, so the fate of civilization rests on your shoulders. You will need to utilize your environments and your weaponry within the game to dispose of the aliens coming to cause chaos on your planet in waves alongside your companions in Helldivers 2 Gameplay what could become one of the best co-op games, but that doesn’t mean the challenge won’t put you and your comrade's skills to the ultimate test of survival.

Arrowhead Game Studios announced they were working on a next-generation third-person cooperative game back in 2020, but nothing has been mentioned since. The game is still in development according to recent job listings at the studio, one of which requires the Senior Character Artist to focus on “everything from organic to hard surface characters such as creatures, humanoids and robots.

PS5 console exclusives almost never come to Xbox, so sadly, the chances of Helldivers 2 ever making it onto Microsoft's consoles are incredibly slim. It did happen before with MLB The Show, though — it even comes to Xbox Game Pass day one now — so at least it's not an impossibility.

You'll need Super Credits to buy exclusive items in Helldivers 2's "Superstore" microtransaction shop, which rotates its stock every two days or so.
